Dalby Offshore have appointed 2 apprentices for the academic year 2017 / 2018 enrolling onto the National Workboat apprenticeship run in conjunction with 54 North Maritime.
Marcus Jennison, 23 from Whitby and Marley Soanes, 19 from Great Yarmouth were appointed back in September. They have just completed a 6 week induction period which included completion of their STCW Basic Safety Training as well as a couple of weeks on site where they spent time with our vessel crews and fleet engineers.
They also completed their RYA Day Skipper course with our in house trainer, Max Perry.
They are now back in college for a period in the run up to Christmas before going onto regular rotation early next year for the 2018 season.
Charlotte McNiven - HR and Crewing Manager for Dalby Offshore says " The 2 boys were the perfect candidates for the course, both showing a keen interest on what we had to offer. So far they have both impressed us in the way they have performed and managed themselves and we very much look forward to seeing how they progress over the next coming months."
