Stuart Mcniven – Managing Director

Stuart is a Master Mariner (Class 1) and holds a BSc in Nautical Studies, has significant experience in the marine industry including Oil/Gas operations and project work. Stuart served at sea from 1976 – 1995 the last 6 years as Captain on large offshore vessels. The majority of his career was with The Maersk Company in London.

Before becoming Owner and Managing Director of Dalby Offshore in 2007, Stuart was CEO of Svitzer Marine Limited (2001-2006) and held numerous senior roles within A.P. Moller Group in London and overseas. He has an international network of contacts and is the driving force behind Dalby’s growth and future strategy.

Eddie Gibson – Commercial Manager

Eddie has a wealth of experience in the offshore industry; he is responsible for the day to day commercial operations.

Charlotte Mcniven – Crewing Manager

Charlotte is responsible for assigning crews to the Company managed ships, responsible for establishing records of qualifications, training and experience of sea staff.  Ensures vessels are manned in accordance with regulations and that ship crews are suitably trained and qualified to STCW requirements.  Ensures that any/all identified training needs of all ship and shore staff are addressed and actioned accordingly.   Ensures that the seafarer is able to understand orders in the language relevant to the ship for which they are being considered and that the Managements Systems is understood by the seafarer.

Max Perry - HSEQ Manager / DPA

Max has been with Dalby since joining in 2012. Max is currently responsible for the compliance within the company and Health and Safety matters both in the company’s offices and on its vessels.

His duties include conducting audits, monitoring of the company’s performance against ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards, and ensuring that the company continues to develop as legislation evolves. Max plans to continue the improvements to the Integrated Management System within the company.

He works closely with all other members of the management team and makes regular visits to all our offices and vessels to ensure compliance with the various benchmarks and standards set. He is also the direct contact for external bodies and client HSE teams

Max holds the Master 500 Workboat Unlimited qualification and the NEBOSH General Certificate, is a member of IEMA and holds various teaching and instructional qualifications.

Kevin Adamson – CFO (Chief Finance Officer)

Kevin is responsible for maintaining the financial, accounting, administrative and personnel services.  He prepares financial statements, maintaining accounts payable and managing office operations.

Phil Weymouth - CTV Fleet Engineer

Phil Weymouth joined the Dalby Team in April 2015 and will assist with the day to day running of the boats. Conducting the servicing, maintenance checks and is on hand to make sure the boats keep sailing with no issues

Sophie McNiven - Account Assistant

Ellie Hills - Purchasing Manager

Ellie joined the team in September 2022.
