Stuart Mcniven – Managing Director

Stuart is a Master Mariner (Class 1) and holds a BSc in Nautical Studies, has significant experience in the marine industry including Oil/Gas operations and project work. Stuart served at sea from 1976 – 1995 the last 6 years as Captain on large offshore vessels. The majority of his career was with The Maersk Company in London.

Before becoming Owner and Managing Director of Dalby Offshore in 2007, Stuart was CEO of Svitzer Marine Limited (2001-2006) and held numerous senior roles within A.P. Moller Group in London and overseas. He has an international network of contacts and is the driving force behind Dalby’s growth and future strategy.

Steve Bartram - Operations Manager

Steve is responsible for the effective day to day operation of the Vessels, ensuring that they are maintained and operated in line with regulatory and legislative requirements. Ensuring all allocated vessels are adequately crewed at all times with fully trained and competent crew, liaising with the Crewing manager to achieve this. Preparing tenders for clients, and attending client bi weekly/monthly CTV meetings. Steve has a wealth of experience regarding small vessel operations, due to having been a volunteer with the RNLI for over 25 years rising to the position of Coxswain for the Great Yarmouth and Gorleston Lifeboat.

Eddie Gibson – Commercial Manager

Eddie has a wealth of experience in the offshore industry; he is responsible for the day to day commercial operations.

Charlotte Mcniven – Crewing Manager

Charlotte is responsible for assigning crews to the Company managed ships, responsible for establishing records of qualifications, training and experience of sea staff.  Ensures vessels are manned in accordance with regulations and that ship crews are suitably trained and qualified to STCW requirements.  Ensures that any/all identified training needs of all ship and shore staff are addressed and actioned accordingly.   Ensures that the seafarer is able to understand orders in the language relevant to the ship for which they are being considered and that the Managements Systems is understood by the seafarer.

Nigel Shaw - HSEQ Manager / DPA

Nigel Shaw is our company HSEQ Manager and Designated Person Ashore. Based in our Lowestoft office, he works closely with our Operations Manager, Steve Bartram and rest of the Windfarm Service Vessel team locally, whilst also liaising and supporting our offices in Yorkshire.

He is the direct contact for external bodies including all clients and regulatory bodies responsible for administering all vessel HSEQ matters, ensuring effective planning, organisation, control and monitoring. He plans to develop and expand our HSEQ support to our vessels utilising his previous experiences from various marine backgrounds.

Nigel’s key aim is to drive and deliver HSE improving our already high standards. Primarily through coaching, mentoring and training of our employees. Continual vessel auditing to our accredited ISO standards 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001, safety management system reviews, accident / incident investigation and close relationships with key clients HSE teams.

In addition, he is qualified to NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Practitioner Member of IEMA and is a Graduate member of the Institution of Occupational Safety (GradIOSH). With previous sea-going experience he joins our teams in the field to ensure that we are providing the highest level of service as expected in a high profile working environment. As Dalby expand into the future he will develop the correct safety culture across current employees and new joiners.

Kevin Adamson – CFO (Chief Finance Officer)

Kevin is responsible for maintaining the financial, accounting, administrative and personnel services.  He prepares financial statements, maintaining accounts payable and managing office operations.

Jane Pittaway – Procurement & Accounts Manager

Jane monitors all suppliers performance and ensures timely delivery of all products and maintains accuracy in all vendor data.  Maintains records of goods ordered and received.  Collaborates with internal and external customers and manages all pricing and availability of all products and develops purchase orders for all purchasing systems.

Emma McNiven - Crewing and Purchasing Administrator.

Emma has recently come into the business on a business administration apprenticeship which ran from 2015 - 2016. Emma's main role is to provide administrative support to the crewing and purchasing departments.

Colin Palmer - CTV Superintendent

Colin assists both the Onshore Staff and the Offshore Crew, Coordinating all crew assessments, preparing new vessels for work, assisting vessels starting new contracts and prepares boats for and attending external and internal Audits. Colin routinely conducts Crew Drug and Alcohol testing and assists at inductions of new Crew Memebers and keeps on top of vessel certificates.

Phil Weymouth - CTV Fleet Engineer

Phil Weymouth joined the Dalby Team in April 2015 and will assist with the day to day running of the boats. Conducting the servicing, maintenance checks and is on hand to make sure the boats keep sailing with no issues
